I work and live in Marseille, France.
Work experience
I practiced as a general medicine doctor in Lyon, France, for five years. Then I served as a physician advisor in Amiens for six years and in Marseille (current position).
I participate to the writing of papers belonging to the corpus of work known as Health Services Research or Outcome Research (the two fields share many similarities ). For that purpose I dive in the administrative data bases of a French mandatory health insurance and try to find links or trends in the way insurers consume health care provisions at a statical level. As a result sometime I can highlight or find risk factors or shifts in the prevalence of diseases through the variation of care expenditures specific to a single disease that are reimbursed. Disseminating the knowledge of the health problems that our insured are facing collectively (and the possible responses that can be brought to them) is also a part of my mission.
