2 lethal accidents of 10 are a consequence of work or commuting between work and place of abode for men aged from 15 to 59 in France. The same figure is 1 of 10 for women.

These findings are the key results of a survey implemented by the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS). The full text of the study is available here: RAPP_SCI_indicateur_en_sante

The other key result is that 9.9 male salaried of 100 000 experience a lethal accident per year (1,7 for female salaried) resulting in an overall 6 per 100 000 salaried-year lethal accident related to work or mutation between work and place of abode.
