Google charged by US department of justice

Google have been charged by the US department of justice with a forfeit of $500 Million for having allowed US citizens to import uncontrolled medicines by the mean of its search engine advertisement. The search engine permitted US consumers to import non prescribed medicines from foreign (Canadian) online pharmacies.

These forfeits intend to struggle against profit making at the expense of US citizens public health.

Google acknowledged its faults and took measures to not reconduct such practices. See the whole text here.
