Reimbursement strategy

As a suite to my post entitled reimbursement intelligence of Saturday, here is a post talking about reimbursement strategy and payer marketing. According to a healthcare marketing consultant if facing a payer problem the principles are:

1) find a Key opinion Leader (KOL) other name: a thought leader in the disease area of your product

2) engage and have practitioners who participe to comparative effectivenes studies for your product

3) publish and broadcast the results

4) help hospital to become a center of excellence in the disease area of your product

5) establish disease management algorithms

6) invite the payer in a meeting at the hospital (4) with the KOL (1) to present him results of the studies (3) and treatment algorithms (5)

    Merci de vous intéresser à mon Blog,
    L’anglais n’est pas “my native langage” vous l’avez compris.
    Mais les changements semblent venir de nos cousins américains ces dernières années: Obamah et sa réforme de santé, les procureurs inflexible dans la défense des intérets publics (je pense au false claim act) et d’autre évènements.
